Properties Management Team
Properties Management Team Leader
- Responsibilities: Recruit and organize a team of volunteers to manage the church building, properties, landscape, utilities and physical assets to support the church’s mission and ministries. Contract with trades people when necessary to perform necessary repairs.
- Commitment: 5-10 hours per week.

Rental Properties Manager
- Responsibilities: Ensure maintenance and upkeep of the rental properties owned by the church in a cost efficient manner. Ensure good relationships with tenants. Ensure maximum occupancy of rental properties. Provide updates and budget input to the Facilities Team Leader.
- Commitment: Average of 1-2 hours per quarter.

Contract Manager
- Responsibilities: Manage lawn maintenance, parking lot maintenance, janitorial services, and other service contracts. Provide updates and budget input to the Facilities Team Leader and Treasurer.
- Commitment: Average of 1-2 hours per quarter.

Lockup Manager
- Responsibilities: Work with a team of volunteers to ensure that the church building is properly secured at the end of each day. Provide reports as necessary to the Facilities Team Leader.
- Commitment: Fifteen minutes each assigned night.

Property Maintenance Volunteer
- Responsibilities: Volunteers who enjoy building, landscaping, and participating in hands-on work projects are needed to help maintain the church facilities. All skill levels are welcome. Property management, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and landscaping experience are helpful, but many of this team’s projects simply require a willingness to learn and to lend a hand when needed.

Information Teachnology Team
IT Team Leader
- Responsibilities: Ensure efficient operation of all technology systems at the church including hardware, software, backup system, website, etc. Provide problem-solving input and professional technology contacts. Coordinate the efforts of the other members of the IT Team.
- Commitment: Varies, depending on current IT projects.

IT Volunteer
- Responsibilities: Volunteers are needed to help maintain the church’s computer equipment, and recommend new purchases to ensure that the staff has the IT resources they need to support our ministries. Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows hardware and software is helpful. Volunteers are also occasionally needed to help troubleshoot problems with our PBX system.

Database Administrator
- Responsibilities: Help the staff configure and maintain the church’s “Automated Church System” (ACS) database to support and enhance our congregation’s ministries. Database experience is helpful, but isn’t necessary. Training is available.
- Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability.

Website Editor
- Responsibilities: Volunteers who enjoy writing, graphic design, and/or web design are needed to provide content for and maintain the church website. Creativity and good writing skills are a must. Past web design experience is helpful, but isn’t required. Training is available.
- Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability.

Podcast Editor
- Responsibilities: A volunteer is needed to edit and post a weekly recording of the Pastor's sermon on our http://www.gecovenant.org/sermons web page. No experience necessary. We will provide the necessary software and training.
- Commitment: 30-45 minutes each week.

Church Office Support Team
Church Office Volunteer
- Responsibilities: Assist the church office staff by answering phones, typing correspondence, creating mailing labels, collating, stuffing and mailing a variety of staff ministry mailings, helping with weekly data entry, filing, making phone calls, collating the Sunday Worship bulletin, creating and printing postcards, and other tasks.
- Commitment: The church office is open Monday-Friday, from 9am-5pm. Volunteers often commit to serve two or four hours on a regular basis, but the staff appreciates whatever time you are able to give.
