Leadership Team

Leadership Team Member

The primary responsibility of the Leadership Team is to guide the congregation to live and be engaged in ministry “in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.” (Phil 1:27). The Leadership Team serves as the primary planning and administrative body for the church and is responsible for guiding and supporting its ministries and activities.

Men and women selected to serve on the Leadership Team must be mature in their faith and have exhibited the characteristics of servant leaders. Members of the Leadership Team will be members in good standing who are active in the support of the total ministry of the church, financially, and otherwise.

The Leadership Team includes the Senior Pastor, Church Chair, Vice Chair, and 7-10 additional members elected by the congregation, each of whom shepherds one of the church’s major ministry areas:

  • Adult Spiritual Formation Ministries
  • Care Ministries
  • Children’s Ministries
  • Missions Ministries
  • Properties & Equipment Ministries
  • Financial Ministries
  • Personnel Ministries
  • Student Ministries
  • Worship and Arts Ministries

The Leadership Team meets once per month for 2-3 hours. In addition, each Leadership Team member meets regularly with ministry team leaders within their assigned ministry area.

Contact Jay Carstenbrock, Church Chair, if you have questions or comments.

Note: Members of theLeadership Team are nominated by the Servant Resources Team and are elected by the congregation for up to two 2-year terms. Only members are eligible to serve on this committee.
