Men’s Ministries
Men’s Ministry Bible Study Leader
- Responsibilities: Spiritually mature men with a gift for teaching are needed to facilitate discussion for this lively weekly, multi-generational Bible study group of 10-30 men.
- Commitment: Bible study meets 8:00-9:30am every Saturday morning

Women’s Ministries
Women’s Ministry Team Member
- Responsibilities: Meet with a team of 3-6 women to provide leadership and direction for women’s ministries, and coordinate special events such as the Covenant Women’s Fall Kickoff, Christmas Tea, Salad Supper, and annual Women’s Retreat.
- Commitment: Ministry team meets once every 6-8 weeks.

Women of the Word Bible Study Leader
- Responsibilities: Spiritually mature women with a gift for teaching are needed to lead two multi-generational groups of 10-20 women that meet weekly for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
- Commitment: One Bible study meets every other Monday evening 7:00-9:00pm. A second Bible study, facilitated by a different leader, meets every Tuesday morning 9:30-11:30am.

Annual Weekend Women’s Retreat Planning Committee Member
- Responsibilities: Work with a team of women to organize the annual women’s retreat. Volunteers are needed to select a theme, create devotions for use at the retreat, publicize the event, recruit volunteers, collect registrations, invite guest speakers, coordinate logistics, and organize activities and entertainment.
- Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability.

Special Events Committee Member
- Responsibilities: Work with a small team of women to organize one of the three special women’s ministry events each year. Past years’ events have included a Fall Kickoff, a Christmas Tea, and a Salad Supper in the spring. Team members are needed to select themes, invite speakers, publicize the events, recruit volunteers, collect registrations, decorate the venue, provide food, set up tables, cleanup afterwards, and much more!
- Commitment: Varies from event to event.

Book Club Discussion Leader
- Responsibilities: Suggest a book, and facilitate a discussion of the book for this group of 8-12 women that meets monthly. Members take turns hosting and facilitating.
- Commitment: Group meets the third Thursday each month during the school year, 7:00-9:00pm.

National Covenant Women Liaison
- Responsibilities: Women with a passion for women’s ministries and an interest in the work of our denomination are needed to represent our local chapter at the district and national denomination Covenant Women meetings, and communicate information and opportunities from the national organization back to women in our church.
- Commitment: Represent our church at quarterly district Covenant Women meetings in the Chicago area, and a weekend-long national meeting (locations vary year to year).

L.I.F.E Group Ministries
L.I.F.E. Group Coach
- Responsibilities: Mature, experienced small group leaders provide mentoring, guidance, prayer, and support for 4-8 other L.I.F.E. group leaders.
- Commitment: Meet with the other coaches every eight weeks, and contact assigned L.I.F.E. group leaders every eight weeks.

L.I.F.E. Group Leader
- Responsibilities: L.I.F.E. group leaders are faithful, people-oriented, mature Christians who coordinate a small group L.I.F.E. group of 6-12 adults who meet regularly for prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and service. L.I.F.E. group leaders can either facilitate or delegate responsibility for the Bible lesson and discussion.
- Commitment: L.I.F.E. groups meet approximately every other week for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer, and schedule occasional service projects and special events. L.I.F.E. group leaders are expected to attend occasional training sessions provided by the L.I.F.E. group coaches and the Pastor.

Adult Sunday School Ministries
Adult Sunday School Ministry Team Member
- Responsibilities: Work with 4-6 other team members who have a passion for adult spiritual development to develop our adult Sunday school curriculum, choose class topics, recruit teachers, and provide leadership and direction for this important ministry.
- Commitment: Committee meets every 6-8 weeks.

Adult Sunday School Teacher
- Responsibilities: Spiritually mature Christians with a gift for teaching and a passion for adult spiritual development are needed to teach adult Sunday School classes. If you have a topic that you would like to teach, contact Pastor Brad.
- Commitment: One hour per week of teaching time, plus preparation time.

Library Ministry Team
Library Volunteer
- Responsibilities: Help organize the church library. Process book check-outs and check-ins, ensure that the library and its collections are properly maintained, and find creative ways to encourage members of the congregation to utilize our library resources.
- Commitment: Flexible, based on your availability.
