Other News

This summer GEECC will provide shelter to those in need, by hosting 60 PADS clients every fourth Saturday throughout the summer.  We need lots of hands for a variety of tasks taking only 1 to 2 hours per month.  This is a great opportunity to be with others in the church and serve the homeless at the same time.  Interested in helping?  Check out the bulletin board near the gym to sign up.  Questions?  Contact Marilyn Sweeny. 

On August 2 GEECC is planning to offer baptism for any older children or adults who have come to faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior but have not yet been baptized, and for infants of a believing parent or parents. Pastor Brad would welcome some time with you before this event. Please call the church office or Pastor Brad let us know if you are interested.

Join Lisa McHale as she leads a group of women in Bible study starting on Thursday, June 18 @ 7pm.  Each lesson stands alone, so if you can’t make one, come the next week! 

On June 28 we will come together to say farewell to Scott and Mary Crickmore who are returning to Mali two days later.  This will be an opportunity to thank them for all they’ve done as a part of our church family while they’ve been on home assignment and to let them know we will be praying for them as they return to the mission field.

Join us on June 30 @ 7pm as the Summer MIX begins.  This is a great chance to bring your friends.  There will be worship, games, Bible time, and lots of crazy fun together! See you there!

Interested in getting to know others in our church?  Sign up to host or attend a Dinner for 7.  Remaining dates are July 11 and August 8.  Everyone brings something, so it’s easy.  Sign up at the Information Desk.  Questions? Contact Sue Wynsma.

Church office hours have changed!  The office will now be open Monday through Thursday from 9am-4pm and Friday from 9am-1pm.  You may always leave a message on the church voicemail, and it will be retrieved the following work day.
