Ministries for Students
At Glen Ellyn Covenant Church, we strive to be a ministry of students and for students. We’re learning what it means to be disciples who make disciples. Acknowledging that we can do nothing without Christ, we want to love and serve God and His children.

Jr. League
Tuesday Nights, 7:00-8:30pm
Join the junior high crew from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights for a time of fun activities, great speakers and small groups (divided by grade and gender). Join us as we re-connect each week. This is a great environment—a place for students to bring friends, build community, experience fellowship, and learn about God’s love.
Confirmation, Sunday Nights, 7:00-8:30pm
It is our hope that through this process our eighth grade students would become more biblically literate, as their own and grow in their relationship and understanding of Christ and their place in His kingdom.
Hi-League
Wednesday Nights 7:00-8:30pm
Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm, you’ll find high schoolers at the church for our mid-week youth group. A typical Wednesday night consists of student-led worship followed by a speaker. This is a great environment — a place for students to bring friends, build community, experience fellowship, and learn about God’s love.
Small Groups, Sunday Nights 7:00-8:30pm
On Sunday nights, you’ll find our high school students meeting in small groups. These groups are divided by gender and age, led by two adults, and designed to cultivate community, questions and discussion from a Christian perspective. This is a great way to get involved in a more intimate setting.
Sunday School
Sunday School takes place between our Sunday morning services (at 9:50 a.m.). Topics are presented in six-week sessions. This is a great chance to dig deeper into the Word and explore the hard teachings of the Bible.
Mission Trips
Each summer we send our students away from home and out of their comfort zone. Our short-term mission trips are a chance to serve others, reconnect with God and each other.
