Ministries around the World
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me. — Matthew 25:35-36
From its earliest days, our congregation has sought to be obedient to the commands of Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations: in our community, throughout the region, and to the ends of the earth. We currently support missionaries in the following areas:
* Due to the sensitive nature of their work, many of of our missionaries have asked not to have their names listed on our website. If you wish to learn more about the work we support in these areas, look for our missions binder near the Higher Grounds Coffee Bar, or contact the church office.
Get to Know a Missionary
We invite you, too, to get involved in what God is doing around the world by connecting with the missionaries we support. Learn about their work, pray, and build relationships with them when they visit our church. Our missionaries love to hear from you! For more information about how you can be involved, contact Kirsten Arney or the church office.
Serve on a Short Term Missions Team
Our church also encourages our members, both students and adults, to consider service on short-term mission experiences. In recent years, we have sent student teams to inner city Chicago, Mexico, and the Czech Republic. Adult teams have served in Alaska, Ecuador, and Taiwan. For more information about how you can be involved, contact Lisa Pires or the church office.
