GEECC Children’s Ministries desire to come alongside families as we encourage children to grow in their love of God and love of others. Our programs are designed to help children . . .

  • ·         grow in their understanding of God’s character

  • ·         increase their awareness of and dependence on the Holy Spirit

  • ·         expand their understanding and appreciation of Scripture

  • ·         cultivate a vibrant prayer life

  • ·         recognize their identity as children of God

  • ·         experience belonging in God’s family

  • ·         become increasingly aware of and tender to the needs of others

SUNDAYS

On your first Sunday, enter the doors on the west side of the building (near the playground) and head to the Children’s Check-In Desk to the left of the entrance. A greeter will help you get your children checked in, answer any questions you have, and then escort you and your children to their classrooms.

We offer year-round programming during the worship hour beginning at 9:30am for Nursery (ages 0-2), Preschool (ages 3-5/Pre-K), and Elementary (kindergarten through fifth grade).

During the school year (September–May), we also offer programming during the Sunday school hour (11am-12pm).

 

WEDNESDAYS

Kids Midweek meets on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm. This is an opportunity for kids to gather for a fun evening of games, singing, a Bible story, and a craft or activity.

SPECIAL EVENTS

We host seasonal activities for families and the entire church community to enjoy together, including . . .

  • ·         Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast (March/April)

  • ·         Summer Family Fun Fest (June)
