ThanksFEEDing

We celebrate Thanksgiving by gathering with family and friends around a feast. We feast but many children around the world lack the food basics to sustain and develop their bodies. We are inviting you to include a few hours in your Thanksgiving celebration to provide meals to children in need. We are partnering with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to pack food over four two-hour sessions on November 21 and 22. We are calling this event ThanksFEEDing. 

Our goal is to pack 100,000 meals. To achieve this goal, we need you and others in the local area. Those who have packed food through FMSC in the past agree that this is lifegiving both to the children and to themselves. In your two hours of ‘food packing’ you will:

  • Work side by side with people ranging in age from 5 to 90+ 

  • Perform tasks that fit your physical abilities

  • Feel the energy, be inspired, have fun, and leave with a smile on your face

There is no cost to participate. Donations are appreciated to cover the costs of the food - 30 cents per meal - and shipping. More than 90% of all donations go directly to these costs.
