We are excited to welcome back Dr. Aubrey E. Buster to our Adult Sunday school as she kicks off our fall series, “Stewarding Our Story for the Glory of God”. Dr. Buster joined the faculty of Wheaton College in 2018 and holds an M.A. in Biblical Exegisis from Wheaton College and a Ph.D. from Emory University. Her research focuses on the Psalms, Chronicles, Ezra-Nehemiah, Daniel, and the Dead Sea Scrolls. She is the author of Remembering the Story of Israel: Historical Summaries and Memory Formation in Second Temple Judaism and co-author of The Book of Daniel, Chaperters 1-6. Dr. Buster also serves on the editorial boards of leading biblical studies publications and is co-chair of the Chronicles-Ezra-Nehemiah program unit for the Society of Biblical Literature. Outside her academic work, Dr. Buster enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, their three children, Malcolm, Martin, and Serena.

Sundays at 9:30 AM - Students grades 6-12 attend the Worship Service.
Sundays at 11 AM (Sept-April) - Sunday School class for grades 6-8 and grades 9-12.

Join us for our Fall Fest, a fun-filled evening for all ages! Bring your family, friends, and neighbors and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship and community. Children will love the Trunk or Treat, and everyone can sample delicious entries in our Chili Cook-Off. Whether you'd like to decorate a trunk, enter your favorite chili recipe, or simply come relax and enjoy the festivities, there's something for everyone. We hope you'll join us for this joyful celebration!

JR. LEAGUE MEETS tUESDAYS
HI LEAGUE MEETS THURSDAYS

Games – Worship – Message – Small Groups.
JR LEAGUE is a place for middle school students to have fun, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with God. Jr League will meet on Tuesdays.
HI LEAGUE follows the same rhythm as Jr League, with teaching and conversations shaped specifically for high school students and the questions, challenges, and experiences they are navigating. Hi League will meet on Thursdays.
Together, we open Scripture, worship, ask honest questions, and talk about what it looks like to live life with God in the midst of everyday life. Whether you have grown up in church or are just beginning to explore faith, everyone is welcome!

GEECC SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP

DATES OF THE TRIP: 2 weeks between June 13 -July 4, 2027
ELIGIBILITY: Open to ages 16 and up
LOCATION & PURPOSE: Traveling to Belgium to support the ministry of Julius and Heleen Hagan.

GEECC BOOK CLUB
TUESDAY OCTOBER 6 at 7pm
The Glen Ellyn Evangelical Covenant Church Book Club is a friendly, inter-generational group that meets once a month at 7pm. Meetings are held at various member’s homes throughout the year. Host homes provide light refreshments, followed by prayer and an informal discussion. The Discussion Leader provides information about the author, along with a few questions to get the discussion started. You are asked to RSVP to the host so she can prepare accordingly.
