LUKE & THE LOST AND FOUND
SUNDAY SERMON: Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
Making His way to Jerusalem, Jesus passes through a village, set on the border between Samaria and Galilee. There He meets ten lepers who cry out to Him for mercy. Jesus heals them without hesitation.
Hallelujah! They are healed of body! No longer is their skin discolored and their muscles weak. No longer must they live in humiliation, isolation, and distance. They are able to rejoin worship and their families and society and enjoy the full fruits of community living. A healing miracle! We say: Hallelujah, once again!
So, if their lives have truly been changed so dramatically and for the better, why then does only one return to offer gratitude to Jesus - to praise and honor God with his face pressed humbly down in the dirt?
Join us this Sunday as we discover more about grateful living and the love and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
See you in church!

OCTOBER BUDGET UPDATE
October Budget Scaries?
Planning for the church’s next calendar year budget begins in November. It is a well-known fact that a disproportionate share of our full-year’s giving is received in December, making the budget process very challenging. Through the end of September, our current income is $170,000 behind our year-to-date budget.
Trusting God
This week’s Men’s Bible Study group discussed passages in Luke 12 admonishing us not to worry. Heeding further the guidance in Philippians 4 to not be anxious about anything but to submit to prayer and petition, I look to God to guard my heart and mind from what I call the ‘October Budget Scaries’. I encourage each of you to be in prayer with me for the Lord to help us meet this year’s financial commitments and to guide our planning for 2026.

Thanksfeeding coming November 21-22
This month we kicked off the promotion of our Feed My Starving Children MobilePack event scheduled for the weekend before Thanksgiving. Our goal is to pack 100,000 meals for children in desperate need of food with the help of 480 volunteers.
Our hope is that our entire church family will be part of this amazing opportunity to bring people into our church to experience our warmth and energy in service to give hope through food to children. Please be in prayer for this event.
Let’s fill all of the available slots for hospitality and hosting activities
and invite friends to come pack with us.
