WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
BEGINS SEPTEMBER 21 & 22
Pastor Dawn will soon be ordering books for the Women’s Bible Study this fall. If you are interested in being included in that order, please email her at; dawn.lauber@gecovenant.org.
Our Study: “Walking with God” is a five week journey through the Bible as we learn to walk with God through all seasons of life.
Please join us! You may choose the evening or daytime option every other week:
Mondays at Pastor Dawn’s home, 6:45pm for Fellowship, 7pm Bible Study begins
Tuesdays in Higher Grounds at church, 9:15am drop off your children and grab a cup of coffee, 9:30am Bible Study begins (Childcare provided. Please RSVP to Pastor Dawn).

Throughout the summer, we’ll usually have a firepit every other week
at the home of a student in our youth group.
Fire Pits are super simple, low-key nights
where we hang out around a fire,
play games and roast marshmallows.
Some Thursdays we hang out around town.
Whatever we do, we have fun spending time together!

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET CHOSEN A MINISTRY IN WHICH TO SERVE and would like to plug into a ministry, call the church office and we will direct you OR…
VISIT THE “VOLUNTEER INFO” TABLE AFTER WORSHIP. GEECC staff will be available to answer questions OR get you plugged in!

CASA of DuPage is dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children who have been removed from unsafe homes due to abuse or neglect. Their trained volunteer advocates provide a consistent, caring voice for these children, ensuring thier needs and best interests are represented. If you would like to donate to CASA of DuPage’s Silent Auction to be held this October at their Gala, you may contact our own Stephanie Horn who volunteers for CASA of DuPage and is part of a team planning the fundraising Gala.
Stephanie has shared this list of specific items that can be donated; Bottles of Wine/Stays at vacation homes/Tickets to sporting events/ Gift cards to restaurants or experiences.
